From Builders: Revised and expanded to include lots of "digital age" stuff, this book is my favorite (how does it work) reference for kids ages 9 to 90. Macaulay's explanations are second only to his supurb, funny, illustrations. Fits right in with the "Maker" movement here in Berkeley!
